Look closely :-(

Never in a million years did I expect this picture to be clear enough to SEE these nasty little pests! THIS is Georgia! THIS is Before raising the anchor or even disturbing the chain! And they have no mercy, these pesty little bugs. Noseeums, the locals call them. They attack from all quarters, bite even in the eyelids, and fly up your nose! It was so brutal going through this state, we kept all lights off during the evening hours when we began noticing they WILL come right in through the screens! To avoid that you can spray the screen with Pam, or with insect repellent! Vicious little critters! That was the worst part of the state. The best part was the people! Hospitality? You couldn't ask for more. We had fellow boaters offer to take us into town for provisions, then gave us a wonderful tour of Brunswick, a beautiful city with down home warmth. They introduced us to "boiled peanuts" which we'd never had and Ron enjoyed. I thought they tasted like potatoes. We had dinner with this couple at one of their favorite restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed the stop at Two-Way Fish Camp Marina.
