Sunset Beach Pontoon Bridge

The little "house" isn't a house! It's the mobile part of the Sunset Beach Pontoon Bridge at Mile Marker 337.9 in North Carolina. The bridge open only on the hour and will not open at all during extreme low tide because there's not enough water to operate it. There is an underwater cable is used to pull the pontoon out of the way and oncoming boaters must wait until they receive a signal from the bridge tender to proceed. Most interesting.
