This is Michael

We stopped for the night at a quiet little park between locks 11 and 12. There are many walking trails (which is where we found the goats) and some of the original locks constructed in 1825. When we pulled up to the dock, there was a group of people picnicing. I apologized for blocking their view and three ladies called back: "O, we told them there would be boats, and you are the first one so we are glad you are here." Getting off the boat, we realized it was a group of adult downes syndrom people, out for a picnic to celebrate one of the members birthday. They began asking us all sorts of questions about the boat. "How can we sleep on that?" "Is there a bathroom?" We went for a walk and returning to the boat, the group was still here. We asked the chaperones if they might like to come aboard and see the boat. This is the "tour." They said Michael would be talking about this for years to come. We were blessed to be a part of it.
